Welcome to Ideal Floors Pty Ltd where we are committed to providing our customers with exceptional value and service. In order to ensure a smooth and seamless experience, we have established the following Terms and Conditions that govern our dealings with you. We encourage you to carefully review these Terms and Conditions, which can be accessed at any time by clicking the dedicated link at the bottom of each page.

Payment terms:

To commence work on your project, a deposit of 70% of the total cost is required. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of the job. By submitting a deposit payment, you acknowledge that you have carefully reviewed and fully understood these Terms and Conditions, and agree to abide by them.

Payment for our services can be made either through direct deposit or via credit card. Please note that a 1% surcharge will be added to payments made using MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.


Please note that additional charges may apply if the subfloor is unsuitable or unprepared for conventional installation. This also applies to situations where existing floors have been removed.

Agreement to engage hard flooring works:  

Ideal Floors Pty Ltd assumes no responsibility for floors that have been affected by moisture ingress. We ensure that adequate expansion is provided for floors to perform normally during changes in climate. Prior to engaging Ideal Floors Pty Ltd to execute the contracted works, homeowners must address any lack of sub-floor ventilation. Any distortion of hydroscopic products resulting from moisture ingress is the sole responsibility of the premises owner. Ideal Floors Pty Ltd will provide a quote for any necessary rectification works prior to commencement. The responsibility for leaking windows, sliding doors, waterproofing, flashings, and a lack of cross-flow ventilation lies solely with the client. Ideal Floors Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for undisclosed moisture issues with the property by the client. We can only comment on floors that have moisture ingress issues and are not qualified for leak detection. There are licensed and qualified ventilation and leak detection experts who should be engaged by the homeowner prior to having their floors installed.

Upon completion of the works, we vacuum and collect all debris, however, residual dust may be present. It is the responsibility of the owners to clean their premises once the works are complete. We remove carpets and existing floor coverings but do not move personal belongings. It is important to note that our services do not include painting or furniture shifting.

Please note that in some cases, it may be necessary to trim doors to ensure adequate clearance. Unless agreed upon in advance, this service is not included in our standard fitting charge.

Cancellation of Purchase

We kindly remind our customers to choose their purchases carefully, as we do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

Under certain conditions, refunds are available for unopened items valid up to 30 days after the date of purchase. Goods must be sealed in resell able condition and not discontinued.

  • 30% admin & restocking fees will be applied to all supply only orders.
  • Strictly NO return of hardwood timber flooring.
  • Strictly NO return of specially ordered floor covering.
  • Strictly NO return of internationally sold items.
  • Strictly NO return of all carpet orders items.
